Always Thinking Of You!

You were my comfort, when I was lonely

You were my strength, when I felt lowly

You were my peace, when I needed rest

You were the only one thinking of my best.

When I was with you, eternity was a step away

To my every problem you showed me a way

You were a source of joy I never felt before

As years rolling by I loved you more and more.

Sad was the parting, no one could tell,

So sudden it happened, my heart fell;

The blow was hard, the shock very severe,

To part with the one, I loved ever dear.

I wanted to give you all I could give

I wanted you with me as long as I live.

Ever I wanted to be part of your heart,

To remain together, never be apart.

I wished that I could trade places with you

For all the pain that you went through.

But when I saw you sleeping free from pain

I could not wish you back to suffer again.

Feeling sad and blue I said goodbye to you

You didn’t go alone; a part of me went with you

In tears I watched you slowly fade away,

With great sorrow I couldn’t keep you stay.

Though absent, in my heart you are near,

Forever missed, loved and always dear.

Love, if ever I cease to think of you

It will be when God has called me too.

When life is falling apart …

There are times in your life

Fate may be a stabbing knife

World may crumble around you

Nothing to hope in your view

You may feel lost in the storm

You may fear for coming harm

Never lose heart, be real tough

Do not consent to give it up!

Remember to stand very tall                    

Never have fear of fall

Do not try to walk away                                        

Have inner strength to stay

Every challenge helps you grow

Every storm strengthens your soul

Always face the trials at hand

Start from place where you stand!

Begin afresh and take your step

Sometimes it may be baby step

Sometimes it may be giant step

But make it sure a forward step

Take up the task, work for the best

Shake your doubt, lay it to rest

When losing people always flee

You’ll be where you want to be!

As You Go Through Life

This is one of the most meaningful and beautiful poems I have ever read. It is about the way to live wisely. It advises us not to meddle with laws of life and create hell for ourselves. Please remind yourself the following facts of life as you go through life.

As You Go Through Life

Don’t look for the flaws as you go through life;
And even when you find them,
It is wise and kind to be somewhat blind
And look for the virtue behind them.
For the cloudiest night has a hint of light
Somewhere in its shadows hiding;
It is better by far to hunt for a star,
Than the spots on the sun abiding.

The current of life runs ever away
To the bosom of God’s great ocean.
Don’t set your force ‘gainst the river’s course
And think to alter its motion.
Don’t waste a curse on the universe –
Remember it lived before you.
Don’t butt at the storm with your puny form,
But bend and let it go o’er you.

The world will never adjust itself
To suit your whims to the letter.
Some things must go wrong your whole life long,
And the sooner you know it the better.
It is folly to fight with the Infinite,
And go under at last in the wrestle;
The wiser man shapes into God’s plan
As water shapes into a vessel.

Awakening

The mad man went on speaking
He couldn’t stop his chatting,
Commenting, arguing, complaining,
Comparing, judging and claiming.

He earned my sympathy
He sensed my empathy
And he started laughing
Saying words with meaning.

“Hearing noisy words of mine
You label me quick insane
Your mind does the same
Yet you think you are sane”.

His words wounded my pride
Turned my attention inside
There I did the same rubbish
Nothing stopped as I wish.

My inner state was very bad.
Truth made me really sad
Losing ego all I had
I stopped calling anyone mad
