The Most Powerful Transmission Tower

There is a very powerful transmission tower in this universe. That is our mind. We attract everything to our life with our mind. The universe is the supplier of everything. Everything comes from the Universe, and is delivered to us through people, circumstances, and events, by the law of attraction. Our mind thinks thoughts and they are broadcast back as our life experience. The universe merely corresponds to the nature of your inner-most thoughts and feelings. When we emit the perfect frequency of what we want, the perfect people, circumstances, and events will be attracted to us and delivered by the universe or infinite intelligence or God!

But sadly we think that certain people or fate or circumstances are giving us the things we desire. That false belief takes the real power from ourselves and gives it to outside events and people. Then we are at the mercy of outside world.

If we do not think about ourselves with love and respect, you are emitting a signal that is saying we are not important enough, worthy enough, or deserving. That signal will continue to be broadcast, and we will experience more situations of people not treating us well. The people are just the effect. Our thoughts are the real cause.  If we really love and respect ourselves we emit that signal to the universe and get on that frequency. Then the law of attraction will be activated and our life will be full of people who love and respect us.

Our thoughts should not focus on the things that we don't want — "I don't want to be poor, I don't want to be sick". Thought scientists say that the law of attraction doesn't hear that we don't want it. It manifests the things that we are thinking of and so it's going to show up over and over and over again. According to them the law of attraction is not biased to wants or don't wants. When we think and focus on something, no matter what it happens to be, we are really calling that into existence.

They say, "To become conscious of this power is to become a live wire connecting to the Universe.  It carries power sufficient to meet every situation in the life of every individual. When the individual mind touches the Universal Mind, it receives all its power."

So check your thoughts frequently. One wrong thought that went unchecked usually brings more such thoughts and stress manifested within us. The stress will bring people and situations in our life accordingly. Here effect is stress and chaos, but the cause was negative thinking that began with one little negative thought.

The remedy is in the positive thoughts. No matter what we might have manifested, we can change it with one strong positive thought and then more such thoughts.

You may ask, “What to do if things go wrong in spite of our positive thoughts”. When things go wrong, do not expect the wrong to appear again. Look upon it as an exception. It happens to all including the most successful people. Call it past and forget it. Turn your mind to the positive side. Think positive and look for the best. By constantly thinking and expecting the best we can turn the tide to our favourable side.

We all have experienced those days or times when one thing after another goes wrong. The chain reaction began with one thought, whether we were aware of it or not. The one bad thought attracted more bad thoughts, the frequency locked in, and eventually something went wrong. Then as we reacted to that one thing going wrong, we attracted more things going wrong.  Negative reactions just attract more of the same, and the chain reaction must keep occurring until we move ourselves off that frequency by intentionally changing our thoughts.

So remember that we have the most powerful transmission tower. The source of all happiness and success is inside each individual. The beauty we see in nature and the beauty we feel in music are inside of us. The world is a whispering gallery which sends back the echo of our own voice. It is a mirror which reflects the face that looks in it. If we laugh, it laughs back; if we frown, it reflects a frown.  What we think, what we feel and what manifests in our life is always a exact match.

Meaningful quotes of Eckhart Tolle

I loved reading Eckhart Tolle’s great books "The Power of Now" and "The New Earth". Though every line of his books seems to be a good quote, I think the following quotes are worth reading and remembering.
-
    -   N.Ganeshan

“If small things have the power to disturb you, then who you think you are is exactly that: small.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“Worry pretends to be necessary but serves no useful purpose”
― Eckhart Tolle

“Always say “yes” to the present moment. What could be more futile, more insane, than to create inner resistance to what already is? what could be more insane than to oppose life itself, which is now and always now? Surrender to what is. Say “yes” to life — and see how life suddenly starts working for you rather than against you.”

“What a caterpillar calls the end of the world we call a butterfly.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“What you react to in others, you strengthen in yourself.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“Give up defining yourself - to yourself or to others. You won't die. You will come to life. And don't be concerned with how others define you. When they define you, they are limiting themselves, so it's their problem. Whenever you interact with people, don't be there primarily as a function or a role, but as the field of conscious Presence.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“The foundation of greatness is honoring the small things of the present moment, instead of pursuing the idea of greatness.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“You can only lose something that you have, but you cannot lose something that you are.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“When you don't cover up the world with words and labels, a sense of the miraculous returns to your life that was lost a long time ago when humanity, instead of using thought, became possessed by thought.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“In today's rush we all think too much, seek too much, want too much and forget about the joy of just Being.”
― Eckhart Tolle

“Instead of asking, “what do I want from life?,” a more powerful question is, “what does life want from me?”
― Eckhart Tolle

When life is falling apart …

There are times in your life
Fate may be a stabbing knife
World may crumble around you
Nothing to hope in your view
You may feel lost in the storm
You may fear for coming harm
Never lose heart, be real tough
Do not consent to give it up!

Remember to stand very tall
Never have fear of fall
Do not try to walk away
Have inner strength to stay
Every challenge helps you grow
Every storm strengthens your soul
Always face the trials at hand
Start from place where you stand!

Begin afresh and take your step
Sometimes it may be baby step
Sometimes it may be giant step
But make it sure a forward step
Take up the task, work for the best
Shake your doubt, lay it to rest
When losing people always flee
You’ll be where you want to be!

Some Wise Quotes - 3

Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they're yours.
(Richard Bach)

Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain. An occasional glance towards the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point.
(Harold B. Melchart)

Emptiness is a symptom that you are not living creatively. You either have no goal that is important enough to you, or you are not using your talents and efforts in a striving toward an important goal.
(Maxwell Maltz)

Big goals get big results. No goals get no results or somebody else's results.
(Mark Victor Hansen)

Old habits can't be thrown out the upstairs window. They have to be coaxed down the stairs one step at a time.
(Mark Twain)

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young.
(Henry Ford)

Make no small plans for they have not the power to stir men’s blood.
(Niccolo Machiavelli)

Use the losses and failures of the past as a reason for action, not inaction.
(Charles J. Givens)

If we don't know what we want, we become like a floating balloon. Our direction in life is at the mercy of external forces.
(Bob Greene)

The secret of getting ahead is getting started. The secret of getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks, and then starting on the first one.
(Mark Twain)

You can do something at any time!

I read about an interesting incident somewhere.

An old farmer wrote a letter to his son, James, who is serving a prison term in the City. “Dear James, This year I won't be able to plant potatoes because I cannot dig the field as usual. I know if you were here, you would help me. Do take care of yourself, my beloved son”.

James responded, “Hello Dad, I hope you are keeping fit and taking your medicine. Please, don't even think of digging the field because that is where I buried the money I stole. I will dig the ground myself once I am out of here. Regards- James”

The Prison officers and the Police read the letter and the very next day the whole field was dug by police looking for the money but they found nothing.

James as he planned, heard what the Police have done in his father's field, and decided to write again to his father, “Hello Dad! Now plant your potatoes. It's the best that I can do from here!”

Obstacles are everywhere in life. Whether they are everyday problems or crisis situations, you can always do something to overcome them. Whatsoever situation you may find yourself now, surely, there is a way out of it. So do not crumble when the odds stack up and surrender without any attempt to overcome the situation.

The difficulties of life are intended to make us better, not bitter. A bend in the road is not the end of the road, unless you fail to make the turn. When there is nowhere to look, call upon your inner resolve. Always observe the silver lining. Though it may not be visible immediately, you can see it if you keep on looking for it. When written in Chinese the word "crisis" is composed of two characters - one represents danger and the other represents opportunity. Think calmly and do your best.

STAY WITH YOUR DREAM TO MAKE IT REAL

We have all had incredible dreams at some point in our lives. As children there are no limits to our imagination. We want to become great in some fields, to become a superhero, or achieve the impossible.  Then something strange happens. When we get a little older, dreams don’t seem to be so important anymore. The grade we receive in the examination is more important than the amount of fun you have in traveling towards our dreams. The money we earn overrules exploring the creative pursuits of your time. Eventually, choosing a career that is practical and safe is more crucial than one that you’re actually interested in.

Some give up at the first touch of pressure; some sell out; some run down by imperceptible degrees and lose their fire, never knowing when or how they lost it. Then all of these vanish in the vast swamp of so called practical people who tell them persistently that maturity consists of abandoning one’s dreams.  Yet a few hold on and move on, knowing that that inner fire is not to be betrayed, learning how to give it shape, purpose and reality. They want to save their dreams from certain death. They keep on believing that they are possible, even if they seem ridiculous to other people. They make dreams transcend into opportunities and they use the opportunities properly to make it a reality.

SOME GREAT DREAMERS

Shivaji he had the dream of building his kingdom at the young age of fourteen. He had nothing to start with except his dream. At the age of twenty, he took out his very first military attack and captured the Torna Fort of the kingdom of Bijapur. After that there was no stopping him and he went on to capture other forts and created Maratha empire. All was not well with his journey. He had many setbacks. But he used them as opportunities to transcend and achieved his great dream.

Martin Luther King said, “I have a dream”. He said-
“I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character”
He faced a lot of struggles on all quarters. He did not give up. His fire could not be extinguished by opposition. He achieved his dream finally.
In fact every achiever in the pages of history was a dreamer.  Dreamers like Mahathma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela changed the course of history of their countries. Dreamers like Steve Jobs and Narasimha Murthy created history in the field of modern technology. Dreamers like Swami Vivekananda and Mother Teresa created giant waves in the ocean of spirituality and gave it a new meaning.
DREAMS -> SETBACKS -> OPPORTUNITIES -> REALITIES
Sometimes fate checkmates each step the dreamer takes. Real achiever manages to transcend moves of fate into new opportunities and finally wins the race with the fate. A very good example is Mr. Soichiro Honda, founder of the corporation that bears his name. Like all companies, no matter how large, Honda Corporation began with a dream and a passionate desire to produce a result.
In 1938, while he was still in school, Mr. Honda took everything he owned and invested it in a little workshop where he began to develop his concept of a piston ring. He wanted to sell his work to Toyota Corporation, so he laboured day and night, up to his elbows in grease, sleeping in the workshop, always believing he could achieve his dream. He even pawned his wife's jewelry to stay in business. But when he finally completed the piston rings and presented them to Toyota, he was told they didn't meet Toyota's standards.

He was sent back to school for two years, where he heard the derisive laughter of his instructors and fellow students as they talked about how absurd his designs were. But rather than focusing on the pain of the experience, he decided to continue to focus on his goal. Finally, after two more years, Toyota gave Mr. Honda the contract he'd dreamed of. His passion and belief paid off because he had known what he wanted, taken action, noticed what was working, and kept changing his approach until he got what he wanted. Then a new problem arose.

The Japanese government was gearing up for war, and they refused to give him the concrete that was necessary to build his factory. He did not quit and he did not ponder on the unfairness. He decided to utilize the experience and make into an opportunity. He and his team invented a process for creating their own concrete and then built their factory.

Again fate played a trick. During the war, his factory was bombed twice, destroying major portions of the manufacturing facility.  He found an opportunity in the disaster. He immediately rallied his team, and they picked up the extra gasoline cans that the U.S. fighters had discarded. He called them "gifts from President Truman" because they provided him with the raw materials he needed for his manufacturing process—materials that were unavailable at the time in Japan. Finally, after surviving all of this, an earthquake leveled his factory. Honda decided to sell his piston operation to Toyota. Here is a man who clearly made strong decisions to succeed. He had a passion for and belief in what he was doing. He had a great strategy. He took massive action. He kept changing his approach after each setback, but still he could not produce the results that he was committed to. Yet he decided to persevere.

After the war, a tremendous gasoline shortage hit Japan, and Mr. Honda couldn't even drive his car to get food for his family. Finally, in desperation, he attached a small motor to his bicycle. The next thing he knew, his neighbors were asking if he could make one of his "motorized bikes" for them. One after another, they jumped on the bandwagon until he ran out of motors. He decided to build a plant that would manufacture motors for his new invention, but unfortunately he didn't have the capital.

As before, he made the decision to find a way no matter what! His solution was to appeal to the 18,000 bicycle shop owners in Japan by writing them each a personal letter. He told them how they could play a role in revitalizing Japan through the mobility that his invention could provide, and convinced 5,000 of them to advance the capital he needed.

Still, his motorbike sold to only the most hard-core bicycle fans because it was too big and bulky. So he made one final adjustment, and created
a much lighter, scaled-down version of his motorbike. He christened it "The Super Cub," and it became an "overnight" success, earning him the Emperor's award. Later, he began to export his motorbikes to the baby boomers of Europe and the United States, following up in the seventies with the cars that have become so popular. Today, the Honda Corporation employs over 120,000 people in both the United States and Japan and is considered one of the biggest car-making empires in Japan, outselling all but Toyota in the United States.

He could achieve his great dream in spite of unexpected problems in each phase of life. His problems and setbacks were not normal at any standard. Still he transcended them and made his dream a grand reality.

LEARN FROM THE GREAT DREAMERS

Everyone has dreams. But only a few people achieve them. Many people sit in awe of those few individuals that make their dreams a reality. The truth is that everyone has the ability to make their dreams a reality. There is really no way to bring people back from the dead or to create a new aged dinosaur, but other more realistic dreams can be accomplished. It is a great truth we learn from the lives of great achievers.

DREAM IT

As children we all allowed ourselves to dream endlessly. When you begin maturing, however, there are always those negative individuals that will tell you dreaming is a waste of time. These are often the same individuals that are stuck in jobs they hate and who will never pursue their own dreams. The first thing you have to do to make your dreams come true is to allow yourself to dream. When you allow yourself to dream you are telling yourself it is OK to think about what “could be”. When you think outside your normal reality, people may think you are a little crazy. But remember that dreaming does not make you crazy. It does allow you to begin your real journey however. So, if you really want to be really happy in life, allow yourself to dream and one fine day you will be able to find real happiness.

TAKE CALCULATED RISKS

The first thing to remember when you create your own dream destiny is to take risks. When you choose to follow a dream, you will most likely need to take risks in order to do so. You will have to go outside of your safe zone in order to do this. You might need to make a major life change or even move to a new location. Whatever risks you need to take, however, will be for the good of your journey. This is the phase in which most people lose track of their dreams. Dreaming is an easy task. Having the nerve to follow them is an entirely different thing. If you have enough guts to take these risks, you will be much closer to your dream than when you began. Remember that taking risks does not mean you should act without analyzing. If you are considering a major life change, you should always think all aspects intelligently before committing to it.

BELIEVE IT UNTIL IT HAPPENS

Sometimes it is difficult to believe that you can make your dreams come true. Often fear of failure takes over and corrupts the entire plan. The second thing you need to do to make your dreams a reality is to believe in yourself. Now, this is much more than just having self confidence. This is about knowing in your heart that what you are doing can work out. If you believe in the dream enough and are willing to do whatever it takes to make it a reality, then you will be a real success. It may not be an easy road, but the rainbow at the end will be worth the effort.

If you come to a point where it just doesn't look like you can muster up any more motivation, you need to keep on believing. There will unbelievably bad days and days where nobody is standing behind your dream. You must stay positive as incredibly hard as it may be. When you think and stay positive, necessary things come to you sooner or later. So, try to keep your dream in focus as you go through the roller-coaster of making it a reality.

DETERMINATION AND HARD WORK

Remember, life is not easy, especially when you plan on achieving something worthwhile. Achieving your dreams can be a lot of work. Be ready for it. Dreams require a person to stretch, to go beyond average. You can’t reach for a dream and remain safely mediocre at the same time. The two are incompatible.  If we can’t live your dreams, what is the point of life? Is it simply breathing and surviving.  Wake up actually and be excited about your life. Remember that success is only sweet if you work hard to get it. Always go the extra mile. Always expect the unexpected. Make use of everything comes in your way. Opportunities may be there in the seeming setbacks. Do not panic. Believe that there is no such thing as failure, and that all seeming failure is an opportunity for adjustment Transcend the mindset of limitation and ascend to the mindset of liberation.  Success is not about having the right resources; it’s about exploiting the resources you do have access to.

“Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it … Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.” said Goethe. It is true. Half of the battle is just beginning your journey. After that stick with it and always be in the alignment with your dream path. The period of time it takes after you lay your foundation, to the time when your dreams are realized, will vary depending on what you’re trying to accomplish. But it will be there, teasing you, taunting you.  World may be waiting for you to give up. But never give up. Whatever may happen be determined till the end and when things are not in your favour show the world what you’re made of. If you stay with your dream it will energize your mind, will and emotions and empower you to do everything you can to achieve it.

JUST BE GLAD

Christian D. Larson (1874 – 1962) was a New Thought leader and teacher, as well as a prolific author of metaphysical and New Thought books. I like his writings very much. They are really a source of inspiration, strength and peace.  The following passage is taken from his small book “Just be glad”. I think we all should start this New Year in the right spirit explained in the following passage.

May our life be a beautiful song finely tuned with harmony!

-       N.GANESHAN

JUST BE GLAD

ALL things respond to the call of rejoicing; all things gather where life is a song.
This is the message of the new order, the new life and the new time. It is the golden text of the great gospel of human sunshine. It is the central truth of that sublime philosophy of existence, which declares that the greatest good is happiness, and that heaven is here and now.

To live in the spirit of this wonderful message; to be a living example of this great gospel, to work out in everyday life the principle of this inspiring philosophy, the first and most important thing to do, is to lay aside our sorrows and glooms, and just be glad.

Whatever you are, or whatever has happened, just be glad. Be glad because you are here. You are here in a beautiful world; and all that is beautiful may be found in this world. It is a world wherein all that is rich in life may be enjoyed beyond measure; a world wherein happiness may overflow eternally in every human heart; a world wherein all the dreams of life may be realized, and all the visions of the soul made true. Then why should we not be glad; first of all that we are here; that we are in this world; that we may stay here for a long time if we so desire, and enjoy every minute to the full?

The real truth is that this world is nothing less than a limitless sea of happiness, the vastness and glory of which we are just beginning to know. And life itself is a song, while time is one eternal symphony. To be in tune with life, therefore, and to be in harmony with the endless music of time, we must of necessity be glad. But after we have learned, to be glad, under every circumstance, it is no longer a necessity; it is a privilege, and has become a part of our active, living, thinking self.

Just be glad, and you always will be glad. You will always have better reason to be glad. You will have more and more things to make you glad. For great is the power of sunshine, especially human sunshine. It can change anything, transform anything, remake anything, and cause anything to become as and beautiful as itself.

Just be glad and your fate will change; a new life will begin and a new future will dawn for you. All things that are good and desirable will begin to come into your world in greater measure, and you will be enriched far beyond your expectations, both from the without and from the within. And the cause of the change is this, that
all things respond to the call of rejoicing; all things gather where life is a song.

When you are tempted to feel discouraged or disappointed, be glad instead. Know that you can, say that you will, and stand uncompromisingly upon your resolve. Be strong and be glad. For when strength and rejoicing combine in your soul, every trace of gloom or despair must disappear; because such conditions can exist only where weakness is the rule and mastery the exception.

Combine strength with rejoicing and you will exercise a magic power—you will possess a secret that will serve you royally no matter what your difficulties or obstacles may be. All joy is light; and it is the light that dispels the darkness.

When things are not to your liking, be glad nevertheless, for the glad heart can cause all things to be as we wish them to be. When things do not give you pleasure, proceed instead to create pleasure in your own heart and soul. And you can if you will always be glad. Besides, things will soon change for the better if you continue in the spirit of rejoicing.  It is the law that all good things will sooner or later  come and be, where the greatest happiness is to be found. Therefore, be happiness in yourself, regardless of times, seasons or circumstances.

When things do not please you, resolve to please yourself  by being glad, and you can add immeasurably to your happiness in this simple manner. Then you must remember that the fountain of joy within your own soul is infinitely greater than all external sources of joy combined. But as far as we can, we should add the joys from without to the joys from within, and in all things be glad.

Rejoice in your strength, rejoice in your talents and powers, rejoice in the wonders of your own nature. For there is far more in you than you ever dreamed. So whatever may come, you are greater than it all, richer than it all. And knowing this, why should you not be glad?

When evil befalls you, consider the fact that the good that is yet in your possession is many times as great as all the evil you could ever know. Consider this stupendous fact and be glad. Then remember, with rejoicing, that neither evil nor wrong can exist very long in the radiant sunshine of a glad triumphant soul.

If you have lost anything, have no regrets. Be glad and begin again. Be glad that you can begin again. Be glad to know that the future is always richer and better than the past if we only try to make it so. Then forget the loss, and rejoice in the fact that you have the power to secure something far better in return. You know that you have this power; then you can never be otherwise than glad.

Whatever comes or not, sing again and again the song of "the soul victorious"; and mean it with your whole heart. Enter into this song with all the power of mind and spirit, for it is always that which we know and sincerely believe that contains the greater worth and power.

When you resolve to be glad at all times and under every circumstance, resolve also to give your whole heart and soul to the spirit of your rejoicing. Give power to gladness, and give life to your song. Open the way for all the sunshine of your soul; and see that every sunbeam from within be one of power as well as one of joy.

It is the full joy of the soul that makes the heart young and the mind great. For as it is in nature, so it is also in man. It is the full glory of the noonday sun that quickens the earth, that makes the fields green, that causes the flowers to bloom. Where the sun is strong all growth is luxurious and all nature bountiful. It is the same when the sunshine of the soul is full, strong and constant in the daily life of man. So therefore rejoice with great joy. Rejoice always and give life and power to your joy.

There is magic in the sunshine of the soul; there if a charmed power in the radiant splendor of a beaming countenance. Such a countenance can dispel anything that may threaten to give disappointment or dismay. So remember to be glad and mean it. It is the greatest remedy in the world, and the greatest protector in the world. It can harm nothing for it turns all wrong into right. It is the sunshine from within that causes all darkness to cease to be. It therefore brings good to everybody, and he who is always glad is always adding to the welfare of every member of the race.

When fate seems unkind, do not be unkind to yourself  by becoming disheartened or dismayed. Instead, rejoice in the great fact that you are greater and stronger than any fate; that you have the power to master your whole life, and determine your destiny according to your own invincible will. Then resolve that you will begin at once to prove that strength, and cause all the elements of fate to come with you, and work with you in building for that greater future which you have so often longed for in your visions and dreams.

Therefore, whatever your fate may be, just be glad. You can change it all. And as you proceed to exercise this divine right, the darkness of today will become the sunshine of tomorrow, and the disappointments of the present will become the pastures green of the future.

-   -    Christian D. Larson
